WANT TO HOST A CHURCH SECURITY TRAINING
COURSES AT YOUR CHURCH?

your location. Strategos International will be scheduling courses across the country and are interested in working in new market areas as well
as established market areas for our church safety/security courses.

By conducting a course in your geographic area you can defer a significant amount of the travel and lodging costs for your church.
The minimum number of students needed to conduct a course is
20 paid tuitions.		  
     
 

There are two types of courses that can be hosted:

  1. Open Course - The host facility provides the training locations and the course is an open enrollment
    for other attendees from other churches;
  2. Closed Course - Closed courses are intended for only churches that will to conduct a closed course for their church’s security, ushers, greeters, parking personnel, or other staff personnel. These courses are quoted at a reduced rate per person since no marketing costs by Strategos are incurred. A Closed Course can be a customized course to meet a specified training need for the agency.

NOTE: Completing and submitting the "Course Hosting" form DOES NOT guarantee selection as a course host provider.
This determination will be made based solely at the discretion of Strategos International.


COURSE HOST REQUIREMENTS
Below is a typical list of the logistical and facility requirements that we need to teach 5-day courses and they are as follows:

  • Classroom of sufficient size to hold the number of attendees that are typically expected for that course topic. Classroom format will include tables and chairs for the average 30-60 students attendance with seating arrangements suitable for note taking and study (tables and chairs)
  • Audio-visual capabilities, to include TV,VCR or DVD player and LCD projector that is computer compatible
  • Sound system to plug into computer suitable to be heard for up to 75 personnel.
  • If the church is wanting to host the "Tactical Defensive Pistol for Church Personnel" course link to this course on the INTRUDER RESPONSE website course then firing range that we can shoot during the hours of daylight and darkness will need to be acquired.
  • If the church is wanting to host the "Pastoral/Platform Protection for Church Personnel" course link to this course on the INTRUDER RESPONSE website then availability to the church sanctuary for a portion of the course is a requirement for practical exercises.
  
 


WHAT IS EXPECTED OF THE CHURCH HOSTING A COURSE?

  • Assistance in getting the word out via email and snail mail to local churches within your metropolitan area and denominational and association memberships.
  • Digital logo of church to include in church endorsement letter to be mailed out to local churches
  • Post the provided training announcement flyer on your churches website or other public areas which would be beneficial in marketing the course

WHAT DOES OUR CHURCH GET FOR HOSTING A COURSE?

  • 2 FREE TUITIONS to attend the course topic hosted after PAID minimums are met for that course.
  • 25% discount on each additional tuition that your church wishes to send personnel to that particular course.

 

 		 
     
 

Strategos Provides the Following:
We will supply all of the course materials, safety gear and "Force on Force" training gear for applicable courses. Live ammunition and firearms are not supplied by Strategos.

We will post the course on the Strategos International "Inter-Faith Intruder Response" website ( http://www.churchintruderresponse.com ) as well as market the course to a 75-100 mile geographic area via email and snail mail marketing effort. The hosting point of contact will be listed on the course brochure that Strategos will design and provide to the host for distribution and so that perspective students can have a local point of contact with your church to make recommendations for lodging, travel, and training location directions.

Strategos International is now booking courses for 2010. Once a course date is established we will create the necessary brochure and place the course on the training schedule.
